Yes that's correct but there's a way to tell.

You can do so and also check the accounts' status by clicking the account name and activating the overlay;

You have to follow people first, then they can view your account and then make contact from there. :) x

Which makes me wonder, if two people with profile limits want to follow each other but can't see each others profiles due to said limits, does that mean one person has to drop the limits first?

Okay, no one can limit their profile. This is done by me and myself only. Either for specific reasons we've decided as staff, or if the member should request it and that decision is not taken lightly and is only done if necessary.
So members themselves cannot do this - whereas previously you could, we removed the option to do so a long time ago.
However, you can still view account statuses by clicking the profile name and activating the popup.

For me. I feel socialising is in person is far much better as I am chatterbox. There is a better understanding of one another face to face. Like the ss annivarsay. I’m happy to chat all :sneaky::giggle:X
