I wish I could help you out hun but I have no clue with all this, we get child benefit for our youngest and that's it, I wouldn't want to begin to imagine on how to start, there must be someone here who would have an idea xThe system is bonkers. Apparently when I move house tomorrow with my daughter I will be given benefits of some nature.
I will pay a few hundred quid tax and some more national insurance, then I'll pay a reduced council tax. After I've paid these taxes I am to receive Child benefit (which everybody gets apparently) and something called child tax credits, then some universal credit .
It all seems a bit backwards. The Government are going to take taxes from my salary then pay it back in some form of benefit .
Would it not be simpler and less expensive for the Government to regulate the cost of living a bit better e.g utilities, rental prices, food prices, fuel, wages?
It's all boggled my mind a bit. It just seems like an excersise in digitally transferring numbers from one bank account to another, then another, then another, then back again:hmm:.

The best advice is either go to your nearest social segurity office or go to citizens advice they help you get everything sorted down to phone calls and making sure you claim whats right for youThe system is bonkers. I do know it's a mine field, I have a family member on a lot of benefits and they earn more than us, perhaps I should have a lookNever in my life have I received benefits so I'm clueless really. I have always worked for a living and will continue to do so. I'm sure it'll all work itself out

Plenty you could do to keep the brain ticking over you knowAye @debE had said that too. I must book a day off work and get it sorted
Thanks x.
I shall soon be like Scrooge Mcduck rolling around in all my gold I'm sure .
I'm sure I'd be better off short term if I gave up work but it's just not in my nature. Got to keep the ol' brain ticking over .

Ere now hang on just a minute @Lips_Pearls has told me all about your listsI shall draw up a list

Then you know I'mgooddemanding
Lets hope you never suffer the misfortune of long term illness or suffering etc that forces you out of work then.should get paid to stay home all day.
I shall draw up a list
Oh dayamn these lists are madness! Be warned. Here be dragons. x
Oh I totally agree with you. Completely. Have seen first hand what benefit scrounges do to the system, but there are some genuine peeps there who do genuinely and desperately need the help.I just feel that most folks that dont work could work if they wanted to - I have employed a so called unemployable guy at the place i am now. whilst the fella is not 100% doing the job we all muck in and do the bits he misses - whilst its not a perfect situation the bloke is working and paying taxes and not a drain on us all. dont get me wrong he and the rest of the team all get a buzz from working together
Yes..... yes I do. Bring back agree.Goddamn. Don’t you just miss agree.
May just make a hashtag.
