Okay so working Sundays irk me. We need the NHS and the wonderful people who work there, but we don’t need Tesco’s or M&S on a Sunday.
“Ahh but what about those aforementioned nurses, who may only have Sundays off to do their food shopping” I hear you say.. well they have another six days to choose from. We all have to juggle when we can.
I think, really do, that Sundays should be like they used to be. Where it was more relaxed and more of a special day of the weekend. Not so much for the religious side of it however.
What cheeses me off, is not only that but things like cold callers who ring me on a Sunday. Or the phone provider if we’re looking for an upgrade or even slightly late with payment on one of the many phones we have with them... they ring on a Sunday. So IMHO; Room 101 needs to have working Sundays thrown into it - aside from obvious necessity jobs etc.

... and the odd thing is, we still get Sunday service on public transport, making it harder to get to the bloody shops!
It's quite difficult to find a comedy angle in this reply - because I agree with you 100% on this. Sunday opening was only ever about making more money for the big stores, not for making life easier for non-9to5ers.
We are starting to live in a 24/7 economy, though, so maybe it's too late to halt the tide. I know people who actually go shopping after midnight. Weird people, of course, but nevertheless...
Ah, do you know what, I'm not averse to starting a revolution - working Sundays are going into Room 101!

Boom. Get in!
I wanted to try and make it somewhat humorous and not a whinge, but I couldn’t add anything really that was...

Brexit.
Not actually binning leaving as I’m pro leave. But FFS just get on with it!

Hmmm, I don't know if that is within the remit of this humble Roomkeeper :hmm:

Tell you what - I'll do feck all about it for a few years, then, in a panic, I'll propose an unworkable plan that no-one agrees with.

As if anyone would be stupid enough to do that !

Right............

I can’t stand dickheads in shopping queues that have been waiting about 5 mins to get served and THEN once the cashier tells them they usually spend another 2 mins finding their purse and then another minute finding cash or cards. Why not get it ready whilst you were waiting

People that have to take babies to important events. Like Weddings, funerals and school plays etc etc. Once they get going blarting then it just ruins the moment. Get a frigging babysitter for the day

I could nominate another but I know I’d be shot big time as probably I’m in the minority these days.

Oh just thought of a swinging gripe. People in clubs that leave their play area in a state. Dirty Bastards

Football
Overpriced, overpaid - ball warriors who all need a dose of real life where you have to find your next meal.
Kudos for getting to the top of course, but bloody hell its all overrated, overpaid.... just for kicking a ball on some grass.
