But don't ask what it looks like in the shops, people are like zombies, rushed crazy eyes, rushing through the aisles, grabbing everything that is durable. Empty shelves everywhere ... sick. If everyone behaved as normal, everything would be fine...

I spoke to the people and it seems it stay as it is ...
I think the government will announce closures for London soon. It’s spreading like a bush fire there and people won’t listen and stay indoors. People are the problem here and if we’re not careful we’ll end up like Italy, Spain and France and now Germany that have just announced the lock down. Scary times in the next few weeks for the UK ??

I wonder how we will both get on as key workers..we have to go in..maybe we will get a permit so we’re allowed out the house..what about people going for food shopping..is someone going to follow you..W..(n)
I have no idea how they will work it but having London the way it is at the mo needs to change, our eldest was there Thursday and places and trains are still crammed with people. The rate of this virus spreading is happening too quickly and with that more lives are at risk.

Infected and sick are different things. This is like the usual flu, 100K may be infechted but only a few get sick and even fewer die. Those who die are always the same group of people. Old people over 60 with a poor medical history.. Stopp panik, it is just a media hype ..remember bird and swine flu

No panic here, we are pretty safe except for the hospitals that are at full capacity. London is a different story.

With London being the most heavily populated part of this country, statistically it will always look worse , but to shut everything down makes no sense , thousands of people cannot afford to be stopped from working in and around the capital, I dropped in to Bluewater today the only crowds were at the M&S food checkouts ... with sensible precautions this can be over come , draconian measures are not required ..

I agree but shutting shops would be disaster, people shouldn’t be going out to socialise though in the city. Go out for essentials but go back home.

If it’s ok to work then what’s the difference to socialising ? ... the supermarket today 100s queuing to buy food is that socialising ? If it’s closing down then it should be everything no exceptions ....

People have to work, have to buy food, they not need to go to the gym or a pub or a cinema. Then again people are thick and aren’t listening to the government and carrying on as normal. People are the problem and it’s simple, stay in unless you have too. ??

Unfortunately in German, but the traslator should translate the most important questions. Death rate 2.1%, 80% of them are over 80 years old with a poor medical history. The survival rate, when infected, even it should break out is 97.9% like nearly any other annual flu. Protect our elderly and act as normal, wash your hands as grandma told you already as you was a little child..and everything is okay
