Sorry for sounding like a bit of a cunt, many of us can't. Some of us are totally alone, and I sincerely mean alone. Hundreds of miles away from any family and thousands from the one. So I'm sorry, I know your words are meant to be loving but they actually cut some of us.

Of course they need to stop half the country having Christmas because the NHS is so short of resources.... but well close fucking hospitals down ????
wait its not a hospital closed down rather an emergency one setup that isn't opened right? i mean its stupid not to use it still though i mean its 3000 extra beds you can use for light cases or something

Part of the problem is having enough staff trained in intensive care to man these hospitals... and from what I’ve read we are not in a situation where they are needed at the moment ...
if that's the case i guess its good news that its not needed yet
