I'm suspicious of blank profiles on anything. Always screams "fake" to me. You know those profiles which just have "tell you later" on nearly every attribute. If there isn't at least a small description then it's probably fake.
Agreed and this is something we will also be taking into consideration... Added to the dick pic avatar situation.
Your assumptions are mostly accurate. The members who don't add information to their profile, photos or avatars or even the slightest piece of info - are usually here for one reason, and not the same reasons as the rest of the genuine members.
I don't think it's imperative to show a face though. I'm not comfortable enough to do that yet as I don't really know any of you. That will probably change in time especially if I get to know some of you outside this place. But for now your stuck with my headless and bottomless body as my avatar.

The thing is, we're not debating (or, at least, shouldn't be) the rights and wrongs of having a dick pic avatar. We're talking about whether it should be banned. We don't, personally like DPAs (can we call them that?), but disagree with having them banned. One's avatar does say quite a bit about the profile, for better or worse. If we ban DPAs (ooh, it works well), then we are forcing a lie, so to speak.

True there is that, but the person behind the account will always be found out anyway - as everyone always reveals their cards, one way or the other...

It's not an easy subject simply because we all view things differently however we do need to remember that our avatars may offend others. Some people may be easily offended (in which case they shouldn't be here) but what I assume is suitable could be seen by others as being inappropriate and could result in them deciding to leave the site so some distinction may be required.
Well that's what exactly did happen with this couple, sadly.. Whilst not offended, there were cheesed off to say the least, that every single time they logged in, from mobile - they had this avatar of a fully erect penis on their account.
That's the problem, and sadly I think they decided after trying to ask nicely, then blocking - that they wanted to leave. Will they come back? I hope so, but this was genuinely the case.

Like I said previous, being a swinging site we all meet people and get chatting, its new and exciting, then we may meet. The fun is the build up and if in the situation of a first meet with out speaking previously at a club, I wouldnt expect to see a dick looking at me when introduced.
If I want I can take that person into a room and then see it, no difference here I think, once spoken I can then look at the photos and see as many as I want xx

They don't offend me as such. I mean I use ****** and for some reason I seem to attract a lot of gay and bi men. More often than not their avatar is a dick pic. If they ask nicely I let them see my pics, (because whatever gets you off, I don't discriminate) but I stipulate I don't want any back. It's not that I'm offended by them. I mean it's hard to avoid in porn and there are plenty on my naughtier Twitter account but I don't want to be introduced to somebody by his dick. For myself, I try to get by on my personality whether it's through engaging or contributions. If you want to see my bits then look in my profile (because I'm not shy) but I'm not going to introduce myself with them or represent myself with them.

As a straight partner I have no interest in the pics of dicks put them in the gallery where they can be found by those interested
I will pass comment then, as I was going to abstain. As a host I do find it time consuming when I greet Gentlemen having to ask them to drop there trousers straight away at the door, so to identify there left/right lower underneath testicle oh or penis looking for that identification spot, birth mark, or mole which all I have seen in there profile picture. If you are going to enforce "no dick" avatars, then you'll need to also ban blatant vagina avatars or you are discriminating against the males of this site IMO.
I always did wonder how the hosts confirmed an individual persons identity.
